Fall is a great time of year for weddings. We had perfect temperatures and weather in beautiful Wonder Valley for the wedding of Jeannette and Jamie. Jeannette was exactly five months pregnant with twins on her wedding day and was surprisingly mobile considering the little ones she was carrying around all day. DJ Matt Giusti of KM Productions did a great job of keeping everyone dancing all night long! What a fun group this was!

Crystal & Anthony Wedding at The Grand 1401 in Fresno

Crystal and Anthony have a very interesting story of how they met. As kids in high school they had dated a bit and knew each other. After high school Anthony accepted an internship on the east coast and the two parted ways. Many years later Anthony returned to the Fresno area and was working hard at a new job. His friends suggested that he should start an account on match.com. Once Anthony signed up and filled out the questionnaires, they very first match the computer provided was his long ago friend Crystal. The two immediately made plans to see each other and now with newfound maturity could see they were right for each other. On the 20th of October 2012 they were married at The Grand 1401 in Fresno! Lindsay & Daniel – Eagle Castle Winery Wedding in Paso Robles

Lindsay & Daniel are from Schaumburg Illinois but wanted to have their wedding in California. They chose the Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles. This unique castle was the foundation of the party that would be their wedding. Both Daniel and Lindsay love animals. In addition to having a horse drawn carriage at the ceremony they also had a local animal rescue team bring in some five beautiful excott birds for display for the guests during the cocktail hour. Guests were able to interact with the birds and pose with them for photos.

The pair of black Percheron draft horses were very enthusiastic and just wanted go go go. When they came up to the castle to drop off the Lindsay for her walk down the isle they just kept going. Three more times the handlers tried to stop the horses for Lindsay to get off but they just kept on going round and round the parking lot. It was a little like watching airplanes doing touch and go landings on a runway, passing by each time without really stopping. On the fourth pass, I walked down to the approaching horse team. I holstered my cameras and put my hands up to meet the horses heads while walking backwards and talking to the horses. THis time they came to a stop so we could get started with the wedding.

Robert and Kimberli make such a cute couple together. Their wedding at the GJ Jonson Chapel at the Peoples church in Fresno was just perfect. Kim is a nurse and Robert is a Air Force pilot so they are both highly organized people. This helped keep everything on schedule and running smooth. After the wedding we headed over to Tornino’s for dinner and the reception. I loved it when they used Robert’s military sword to cut the cake!
