Eric and Pam met each other at work and started dating after Eric pursued her for a year and a half. They hit it off after Pam finally agreed to a date and have been inseparable ever since. They both have 2 children and love each other’s kids and now have a beautifully blended family.
Two years ago in 2012 Genaro & Stefanie were married and they picked me to be their photographer. I was so happy to hear from them again when Stephanie became pregnant. They loved their wedding photos and wanted to shoot some maternity photos. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.
There is a very short time each year marking the beginning of Spring when the orchard blossoms are out. It’s a great time for engagement photos!
It’s fun shooting something new and different! “Dance On A Cloud” is a beautiful cloud like effect for the first dance. Using dry ice and hot water this effect creates a wonderful cloud that floats along the ground around your feet. I love the look in the photos! The effect last for about the length of the first dance song. You can’t feel or smell anything at all it’s just pretty! If your interested in “Dance On A Cloud” for you wedding you need to talk to Erik Hess at lightupthewalls.com
Also at this wedding we took some time to play with some wedding sparklers. These sparklers are a special version that burn longer and brighter than the ones you typically see at the 4th of July. It’s fun to write things in the air and do different designs. I keep a stock of these so if you would like to do some magic sparklers photos at your wedding let me know and I will bring them along!
Heather & Christopher we married at Wonder Valley on February 15th 2014 in a beautiful lakeside ceremony. Even in Winter the Wonder Valley gardens are simply gorgeous!

Aimee & Ryan were married at “The Grand 1401″ in downtown Fresno. The ceremony was held upstairs on the balcony level, and the reception was held on the floor level. During the first dance, DJ Eric Hess brought out a new piece of equipment. It’s called “Dancing on a Cloud” and the effect covers the dance floor during the first dance. It was fun to see this working for the first time. Look for this at future weddings around town.
